I am still pretty impressed the with Sox that they did make it as they did with all the injuries and without Manny. On a selfish note, I am relieved now of staying up night after night watching the Series (which I won't watch since I am not really a true baseball fan) and I can get my much needed beauty rest and Jack can also get his sleep and then our household will be most pleasant. Jersey Rip- That is true and you are right, I have not lived that long but my suffering has been great being a Sox fan in NJ haha. But I do agree that there is a different mood among Sox fans and maybe it's good that they have won 2 WS in less than 4 years because it really has mellowed Sox fans. But do you think that has taken out the spirit of Sox fans? See I sort of miss that intensity that was so alive and within every Sox fan when they were still cursed. Nockster- I agree whole heartedly, Francona and the Sox really should just be proud that they didn't get beat in 4 games, the fact that they stretched it to 7 is impressive. I'm not sure if I think they are going to take it all, there is something about Philly that always impresses/scares me but I think it will be a very close series.

Grady Little was afraid to pull the trigger on Pedro in '03, that should have been the year the curse was broken, we were a better team than even the '04 Champions. I have become a kindler, gentler baseball fan since the two championships, but I am still passionate about my team, and there is NO GOOD in the Sox losing!
I turned off the TV seconds after our season had ended last night, took some cough medicine, and went to bed. No tears were shed, there was no yelling and screaming. I just let 2008 go, just like that. Wait till next year is OK to say, but I'm not glad we lost.
